WHY WE FIGHT! (And why YOU SHOULD too!)
*Did you know that statistically speaking 80% of those that are reached for Christ are
reached BEFORE the age of 18?
*Did you know that statistically speaking (*Outreach magazine/CNN 2007 Poll) that 73%
of Americans between the ages of 18 and 29 are now COMPLETELY UNCHURCHED?
What does that mean? That means that if we are in a FIGHT to reach THIS
GENERATION with the GOOD NEWS of JESUS CHRIST then WE ARE LOSING!
Keith Green said it best when he said "THIS GENERATION of believers ARE
RESPONSIBLE for THIS GENERATION of souls!"
IT IS OUR JOB to reach out to the lost, to those that haven't heard the GOOD NEWS! If
we are going to reach THIS GENERATION then we are going to have to start speaking
to them with a voice that THEY can understand and relate to.
Study revival - be it John Wesley, Charles Finney, or William Booth of The Salvation
Army and ONE THING you'll discover that all of these men had in common was that
THEY TOOK THE MUSIC OF THE DAY (*Shhh! The Bar Tunes!) and used it to reach
out to THEIR GENERATION to share the GOOD NEWS!
